So, we formed a little company... MAD CAVE BIRD GAMES, LLC.

Each letter stands for someone in the family - Matt, Ali, David, Carly, Asperheim, VanOosterum, Elvis (our dog), BIRD (Bud, our bird) + GAMES.

We started making the original ColorKu games in 2005, by drilling holes into old wooden planks and hand-painting hundreds of wooden balls at our cabin near Lake Michigan.

Now, ColorKu is played by many as a fun, challenging pastime and has been used as an educational and mental strengthening tool in schools and hospitals around the world.
